Secondary school programme includes Fossils, Rocks & Soils, and Plate Tectonics & Continental Drift for older pupils. These are completed using Full Dome Theatre films and a fully digital 360 degree planetarium/Earth show. All computerized using Nightshade software giving an interactive tour of the Earth and the universe. We regularly attend secondary schools, normally Y7 to Year 9 science week, but can complete sixth form and GCSE level. We have been recommended by a number of Science Teachers Association Schools, please follow list of school on front page. As a guide, the maximum number of students in one sitting is normally 45 at year 7, or 40 at year 8 and 9 onwards, in a 50 to 60 minute show.

- Nano Cam Show -'Biodiversity' with images of an electron microscope and the latest 3D animation technology showing the five kingdoms of living things. We discover their characteristics, form and their importance for the ecosystems and sustainability.
In addition to presenter-led shows we can offer amazing all-surround fulldome films. These are the same as ones shown in large fixed planetariums, for example 'Black Holes - the Other Side of Infinity', 'Oasis in Space' about Earth's place in the Solar System, and
and fulldome 2012 film about Earth and Eco/Climate 'Dynamic Earth'
These films wrap around and over the viewer on the whole surface of the dome, and are the type of films presented in fixed planetariums in science centres or IMAX, but we will bring them to your school!
Students will find these films an enjoyable and memorable experience and aid to learning. A teacher’s guide is provided when booking for classroom follow-up.
'Dinosaurs at Dusk' film used , as well as private commissioned dinosaurs 3D models films from a software company in India. Dinosaurs at Dusk is all about flight, and dinosaurs: a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly learning adventure in the most amazing movie format ever invented! Science content also includes topics such as continental drift, proper motion of stars, asteroids and impacts, extinctions and the convergent development of flight among species.
We have a number of domes designed for secondary schools or large sports hall with a ceiling requirement of around 4.2 metres (13.5 feet) or smaller dome.
'Jupiter Dome'. A US-made 7 metre diameter indoor dome.
The Jupiter Dome is specially designed for all surround dome projection. We use this with our new USA ZETA projector (2012) to provide full planetarium shows and 3D effects on pictures and films.
If this is not available then a 6 metre dome below can be used.
'Europa Dome'. A US-made 6 metre diameter indoor dome.
The Europa 6 metre Dome is specially designed for all surround dome projection. We use this with our new US projector to provide full planetarium shows and 3D effects on space pictures and films.
This dome can hold up to 50 younger children to Y3; but only 40 older children. Please be aware that the height restrictions and bigger space for use with this dome detailed below, but it is an impressive dome made of unique space themed material.
The Europa Dome will require a room of sufficient size, typically, at least 7.5m long x 6.75m wide x 3.4m high. Ready access to a standard 13amp power socket is also required.
